Scottish Highlands Wedding Vow Renewal Photography | Annika + Raphael
[Before I forget - watch the film HERE!]
So, the tinterweb tells me that 10th anniversary gifts should be tin (lump of solder?) or aluminium (a saucepan?). Pretty uninspiring really. Or diamonds - but as we all know, diamonds are essentially worthless lumps of carbon that the DeBeers family brutally control and inflate and market to ladies, as synonymous with ‘love’ and ‘meaningful occasions’ and in fact the connotation with 10th wedding anniversaries is probably engineered by them anyway. But hey - they sparkle! ;-D
Nah, instead of materialistic gifts, why not buy yourselves an experience? A slice of unbridled Scottish wilderness with the wind searing your lungs, the views tantalising your eyes, the rugged terrain testing your thighs and the midgies biting your face ;-) Why not head out to somewhere like the Glencoe, where the mountainous landscape provides spectacular and uniquely Scottish scenery and walks , and just feel free for a day. Escape the rat-race. Enjoy nature. That’s exactly what Annika & Raphael did.
A beautiful wedding vow renewal, with some readings, heartfelt words and Scottish wedding traditions, taking place by the riverside. Not another soul in sight; just us, the wilderness, their Golden Retriever and some good times. Bliss :-)
