how I take photos.
I think to start with, I really try to focus on the emotions - the small moments that texture the day; the glances and gestures and interactions. These really make my clock tick. But - I also go the extra mile to get some real epic, heightened shots, using all of my knowledge of light and composition - the ones that look like paintings, that you'll want to blow up in a giant frame and put on the wall.
For me, it's a balance of those two things - one eye on the human story of the day, and the other on transcending normality and creating something more artistic, something that captures that wonderful feeling that you get on your wedding day, that it's not like any other day ever.
